falafel wrap
What, you never had falafel?! Let us fix that now!
Ingredients:
· 1 (14oz) can of chickpeas (rinsed & drained)
· 2 tbsp sesame seeds
· ½ onion (chopped)
· 1 tbsp minced garlic
· 1/3 cup parsley (chopped)
· 1/3 cup cilantro
· 2-3 tbsp flour
· Grapeseed oil for frying
· Season To Taste: cumin, black pepper, adobo or salt
· For wrap: pita bread, tomato, onion, lettuce, vegan Tzatziki sauce
Instructions:
1. Add chickpeas, parsley, onion, garlic, sesame seeds, cilantro, and seasonings to a food processor. Pulse to combine.
2. Transfer to a mixing bowl.
3. Add flour and mix well.
4. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1-2 hours to firm up.
5. Once chilled, form into small discs.
6. Add oil to a heated skillet.
7. Fry on both sides until golden brown.
8. Build your wrap.
