INTRODUCING DR. RASHIDA EDMONDSON-DAVIS, PH.D

Rashida Edmondson-Davis, PhD., is a Postdoctoral Fellow who enjoys supporting individuals through life’s challenges. Dr. Edmondson-Davis has a holistic and relational approach to therapy, using interventions that cater to clients’ unique identities and therapeutic needs. Dr. Edmondson-Davis believes that effective healing begins with a strong relationship between the therapist and client. Dr. Edmondson-Davis’ interests include trauma/abuse, family and couple issues, identity development, religion/spirituality concerns, and child/adolescent developmental issues.

Educational and Career Background

Dr. Edmondson-Davis received her Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) following the completion of her pre-doctoral APA-accredited Internship at the University of Missouri Counseling Center in Columbia, MO. During her graduate career, Dr. Edmondson-Davis gained experience providing therapy to a diverse population of children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups in a wide range of settings including university and community outpatient clinics, VA hospitals, inpatient hospitals, school counseling, and telehealth. Dr. Edmondson-Davis is a postdoctoral fellow at Great Life Counseling Center under the supervision of Dr. Kevin Lambert Psy.D.,MBA.
